Beverage Bot Capabilities

While it is able to pour beer, wine, soda, and make mixed drinks, the Beverage Bot is much more than just a machine that pours drinks; it checks ID's and modifies the drink list based on the users age.  Beverage Bot users can browse a comprehensive list of available drinks, view drink pictures, and read drink description.  Users can even create, name, and save their own custom drink.  The Beverage Bot makes ordering drinks simple and intuitive with useful features such as the "Drink History" and "Specials" areas.

The Beverage Bot adds value to the bar for the user and the bar owner.  The Beverage Bot adds the "WOW" factor to the bar as well as offering many functional benefits that will directly benefit the bar owner, such as saving money through accurate pouring and the Beverage Bot’s capability of charging per liquid ounce.  The Beverage Bot collects statistical data that helps the bar as a business be more successful by recording popular drinks and ingredients, which allows a bar owner to more appropriately target his real world customers.  The Beverage Bot also draws more people to the bar with the "Locate a Beverage Bot" feature offered exclusively at http://www.beveragebot.com.  The Beverage Bot also helps take some of the load off the bartender on really busy nights.  The Beverage Bot has low level detection and an inventory management system built into it.  The low level detection system alerts bar staff when its time to change out ingredients. The inventory management system keeps track of how many units of product were sold and can be setup to order more when supplies run low.

                                                           iv.      When a drink is selected a comprehensive drink summary is displayed

1.       The drink summary shows the drink description, drink size, list of ingredients, and a picture of the drink

a.     Ingredients can be modified for the selected drink.  This change will be remembered for that drink and customer.  

2.     Take an existing drink and put your own spin on it.  Any drink can be customized and saved with a new name. 

3.       A user simply presses “Pour Drink” to dispense the selected drink 

b.      Favorites

i.  The favorites area is a list of your favorite drinks.  Any drink can be added to your favorites making it easier to find later. 

c.       History

                                                              i.      The drink history feature of the Beverage Bot helps you quickly locate a drink you recently ordered.

 d.      Specials

                                                            ii.      The specials area allows you to quickly see all drinks that are on special

   e.   Custom 

                                                              i.      Easy to use drink builder that allows users to select each ingredient and specify an amount to be dispensed

                                                            ii.      Ingredient selection based on users age

                                                          iii.      Ingredient amounts can be specified in ounces or shots.

                                                           iv.      The drink builder also allows you to modify the ingredient list at anytime

1.       Change order of ingredients

3.       Start over (remove all ingredients)

                                                             v.      Once you’ve created your perfect drink you can give the drink a custom name and save it so it’s available next time or you can just pour the ingredients you have listed

     f.      Preferences

                                        i.  The preferences area allows you to specify what particular ingredient to use for a given ingredient type.  These preferences are saved and associated with your so everyone can have their own custom preferences and it will be saved.

                                                1.  For instance, let us say the machine is loaded with 3 types of Vodka: Popov, Smirnoff, and Grey Goose.  In the preferences area you can specify that for Vodka your order of preference is: 1) Grey Goose 2) Smirnoff 3) Popov.  This means that if Grey Goose is loaded in the machine, any drink you order that has Vodka in it will use Grey Goose.  Now let’s say the next time you use the machine Grey Goose is not loaded but Smirnoff is.  In this case Smirnoff will be used because it is the highest available ingredient on your preferences. 

 

 2.     Software- Bartender Mode:  All the same features of the Customer mode plus the ability to order multiple drinks with the option to pour quantities greater than 1 into a single glass (like a large shaker) or individual glasses.

3.      Software- Administrative Interface

a.       Pump Setup

                                                              i.      Quickly and easily setup the Beverage Bot by specifying what ingredient is attached to each pump

                                                            ii.      Easily prime the system by purging each pump until all the air is out of the line

b.      Options

                                                              i.      Specify mode of operation

1.       Business mode: Charge per drink

2.       Party mode: Cover charge.  One price, all you can drink

3.       Open Bar mode: Free drinks

                                                            ii.      Setup advertisements

                                                          iii.      Enable/Disable Jukebox mode

c.       BAC Calculation

                                                              i.      Enable or Disable this feature

1.       If Enabled: Specify warning and cutoff levels

d.      Specials

                                                              i.      Specials builder allows you to easily and quickly add/edit/delete drink specials

e.      Calibrate

                                                              i.      One touch calibration ensures pouring accuracy

1.       Simply press the “Calibrate” button

2.       Measure how much was poured

3.       Input the measured amount

 

4.       Software- Report Generation

a.       Easily create/edit/delete  reports to gather important statistical data such as:

                                                              i.      Most popular drink

                                                            ii.      Most popular drink by age group

                                                          iii.      Most popular drink by time

                                                           iv.      Most popular drink by date

                                                             v.      Number of customers that used the Beverage Bot

                                                           vi.      Frequency of Beverage Bot use based on: Date, time, age group etc.

b.      Reports can be run manually or configured to run automatically

 

5.       Software- Drink Administration

a.       Allows administrator to easily manage all drinks and ingredients in the Beverage Bot database from one program.

                                                              i.      This standalone program can be run on any machine that has a connection to the Beverage Bot

1.       If network allows it, drinks and ingredients can be managed offsite

b.      Ingredients can be added/deleted/modified

c.       Drinks can be added/deleted/modified

 

6.       Software- Video Monitoring (optional)

a.       Each Beverage Bot can come equipped with a webcam

b.      Optional configuration allows all Beverage Bot’s to be monitored from a central location

                                                              i.      Usually a security guard or bouncer monitoring station which is on the local network

c.       The central location can see each Beverage Bot in their own window

                                                              i.      Each window has:

1.       Video of user

2.       Information from the user’s drivers license (age, height, hair color, etc.)

3.       Drink history

4.       Current activity

d.      Monitor can take several actions through the software

                                                              i.      Log user out

                                                            ii.      Lock user out of all Beverage Bots for the rest of the night

                                                          iii.      Capture screen information

1.       This is useful if a minor is using a fake ID, or someone else’s ID
